Genasi are human-derived planetouched infused with the power of the Elemental Planes, most often as the result of crossbreeding between humans and the powerful genie races or other elementals that dwell in such planes. Genasi are physically powerful and cunning, and each of them is bestowed a gift related to the element that is in their bloodline. Each genasi has at least one physical manifestation of what element they are born from. They also have colored lines that form patterns on their body, and these lines are passed on to their offspring and sometimes even their lovers. Genasi aren't trusted by most, as they can be seen as an ill omen, especially in more rural areas of the Flanaess.
