Jaster is a skilled hunter and trapper who has spent the last two years plying his trade within the Pomarj. He joined up with a group of like-minded hunters for safety, but they were ambushed by goblins. Jaster leapt into a nearby tangle of trees and brush as the attack commenced, but a stray arrow drove itself into his stomach. He suffered a near fatal wound, but he managed to travel for several days, seeking the solace and protection of Nettles' Crossing.
A group of adventurers found him on the brink of death and healed his wounds. He agreed to accompany them on their journey to found a colony in the name of Ulek.
